Many perceive the reduced regulation of psychedelic use in the clinical settings as opening a window of economic opportunity. There is a gaping hole in the field of psychedelic drug research and manufacturing because of the lack of profitability associated with psychedelics for pharmaceutical companies. Accordingly, many organizations and individuals are allocating funds to advocate for the deregulation of psychedelics in the clinical setting.
